Terms and Conditions

§ 1 Task
According to the job you wish to have done, Acad Write will determine a competent associate as the person in charge. In case of extensive tasks it will possibly be a team of specialists.

§ 2 Customer protection
As a matter of course Acad Write keeps the customer's identity anonymous. The assigned person in charge does not receive any personal data of the customer.

§ 3 Duty of care
The data the customer may provide will be handled with reasonable care and returned to the customer as soon as the job is finished. Unless otherwise agreed, the material incurred during the processes of research and elaboration will be destroyed after completion of the task.

§ 4 Data protection
All information, names, addresses and other data associated with the task are treated with the utmost discretion. Unless specifically authorised, none of the contracting parties is allowed to pass information about the contractual relation on third persons.

§ 5 Fees
The total cost for the order is based on the fixed prices advertised in annex number one of the Terms and Conditions of service. Annex number one is an integral part of these Terms and Conditions. For orders that exceed the fixed prices the fee is based upon the amount of text, the degree of difficulty, the type of work, and the time placed at the disposal. In this case we will submit an individual quote. The products and services mentioned in this on-line presence are not a binding offer; they are an invitation to the customer to submit a binding offer.

§ 6 Payment
In case of a fixed price offer the fee needs to be paid in advance. For orders that have to be negotiated separately the fee may be paid in two rates: the first one with order, the second at a later date that has to be stipulated. In case of assignment of a mission from abroad or specially problematic orders ACAD WRITE demands the payment of the total fee when placing the order.

§ 7 Amount of text
When creating a text a single page of manuscript comprises approx. 30 lines of at most 60 characters.
In scientific texts references are placed within the footnotes (also at the bottom of the page to which they refer if desired).

§ 8 Corrections
After finishing the manuscript the customer may once demand a free correction of the text (for opinions within 14 days). Change requests need to be precisely specified on the manuscript (spelling or stylistic amendments). Scientifically explicit and consolidated findings or research results are excluded from any correction. If the customer requests the text to be delivered on electronic media the claim for amendment expires since the changes can more easily and reasonably be added by the customer itself.

§ 9 "Academic" ghost writing
If you want to use our opinions/manuscripts for presentations, term papers, diploma theses or doctoral and habilitation theses we point out, by reasons of penal relevance, that you only have to treat them in an admissible way. You are not allowed to order texts you later want to pass off as yours and you have to sign with a declaration in lieu of oath (I declare on oath that…).The customer affirms that he/she will not hand in this work if to be signed with an affirmation in lieu of oath declaring that he/she wrote the paper him/herself and without the help of another person. Likewise, he/she will not hand in this paper in the course of a contest.

§ 10 Warranties
In case of assignment of a mission the customer expressly and strictly accepts the following principle: All services agreed with ACAD WRITE are a matter of contractual relations according to the German Civil Code (order to receive advice or recommendation). There is no “guarantee for success”. As a matter of course we do work accurately and to the best of our knowledge.

§ 11 Addendum
If the customer violates these Terms and Conditions ACAD WRITE is allowed to stop the elaboration of the work required. In this case there will be no right of refund or compensation on the part of the customer. In the case of failure to observe the time-limit on the part of ACAD WRITE, the customer - after admonition and a fruitless run out of a reasonable extension of time - has the right to withdraw from the contract and to refuse further payment.

§ 12 Severability clause
If any stipulation or article of the TC is held invalid, the invalidity does not affect the rest of the contract.

These Terms and Conditions of service shall be governed by the laws of Germany. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions of service shall be Halle (Saale), Germany.
