Plagarism check

Our free plagiarism check – for your peace of mind!

A great many cases of plagiarism in academic work have been uncovered in recent times, and have provoked more or less effective countermeasures by the universities. In a highly diffused manner, the topics of "plagiarism" and "ghostwriting" were subsumed under the generic title of "fraud in academia" although there is in fact little relation between the two. The term "plagiarism" was also described extremely precisely; plagiarism checks are today limited almost exclusively to word-for-word copying from third-party sources. This does not seem particularly useful though, as no new academic content is created by rearranging a few sentences and exchanging a few words with synonyms. Such measures are enough to outwit all automatic plagiarism checks though. Only in this way can it also be understood that some ghostwriters prepare work in all imaginable subjects at the same time – from medicine to law to business studies. Although this even seems to work somehow, we have decided on a different approach for good reason, and cooperate with specialists from all disciplines. In light of the flood of examination papers and final theses, an automatic plagiarism check whose weaknesses are meanwhile sufficiently known is mostly only possible due to time restrictions. This will inevitably lead to just a few cases of inadvertent plagiarism being uncovered in which editorial errors have crept into work – unlike in older work that is now being subjected to a plagiarism check retroactively. Those wishing to commit plagiarism today have long known how to outwit a plagiarism check without the help of academic ghostwriters.

Why does a ghostwriting agency offer a free plagiarism checking service?

The point of this has already been explained: we believe that in their present-day form, plagiarism checks only penalise the careless and not the deliberately deceptive. Those who intentionally copy another source will be particularly careful to meticulously compare the two formulations. This applies equally for students who copy as well as for ghostwriters who work unprofessionally. Both therefore do not need any plagiarism check. As a consequence, our offer is primarily aimed at those wishing to subject their work to a plagiarism check to be on the safe side and to detect any mistakes in time. Today all authors of academic work must expect their work to be subjected to an automatic plagiarism check. It certainly isn't a bad idea to do so of one's own accord by way of precaution!

Just 10 checks a day

Unfortunately plagiarism checks are not fully automatic, and we must still perform a small amount of work manually. Hence we must limit our offer of free plagiarism checks to 10 pieces of work per day due to capacity limitations. No restrictions apply with regard to the text's length, so you are free to upload the entire document. We naturally also assure you that we will not save your work once the plagiarism check has successfully been completed. Moreover, please note that not all plagiarism checking software delivers the same results. The search algorithms differ slightly – sometimes different archives or other sources are searched. A successful plagiarism check therefore does not offer an absolute guarantee that checks using other systems will not detect any plagiarism.

Is there such a thing as inadvertent plagiarism?

The claim that plagiarism crept into one's work inadvertently is often dismissed purely as an attempt to justify one's actions – sometimes rightly, though sometimes also wrongly. Some of the recent plagiarism cases really do give the impression of editorial imprecision. Some of the plagiarism occurred in sections of text that were expressly marked as a summary of the results from a third-party source. Just a few literal quotes were not indicated as such with quotation marks. To speak of intellectual property theft here seems overly harsh. In other work, a few parts not marked as being taken from another source were found, although almost all parts used were correctly indicated as such otherwise. In the public debate, barely any distinction was made between these cases and work that almost exclusively comprised sources covertly copied together. A plagiarism check helps to detect such mistakes before others do.

The limitations of automatic plagiarism checks

A plagiarism check with current software only makes sense when it is conducted for the purpose described above. Forgotten quotation marks and other editorial slips can be detected and corrected in time before they prove fatal. What makes less sense is to use the plagiarism check to check a text by a dubious ghostwriter for plagiarism. Equally ineffective would be to check whether one's own deception attempts are successfully detected by the plagiarism check. Two risks exist in both cases that cannot be avoided with our free plagiarism check. Firstly, such attempts fail if one of the examiners recognises the cleverly reworded source. Secondly these attempts may end in the same way as is also the case in some past work: in future, technically enhanced plagiarism checks will also conduct semantic searches, so will also be able to detect linguistically modified content plagiarism. And there is evidence to suggest that retroactive checks will be conducted in future. Reliable ghostwriters are aware of this and will never select this type of dangerous shortcut to rapidly prepare a manuscript. For this reason, our ghostwriters leave passing within a whisker of verifiable plagiarism to others. The delight in such a success would be short-lived! For this reason, we only employ qualified academics as academic ghostwriters, who are capable of producing genuinely unique pieces of work.

Take advantage of our free offer!

A plagiarism check should be a precautionary measure conducted as a matter of course since virtually every piece of academic work is rigorously checked by the universities anyway. The in part fanatic hunt for just a few words that could have already been written by someone somewhere at some point in time will in future cause a great many authors of academic work serious difficulties that they had not remotely expected. Our free plagiarism check does not solves all problems associated with this, but at least a great many. Take advantage of this opportunity!
